Experience & Interests
There is no shortage of great ideas in this world. The hard part is execution.
Once a breakthrough idea is uncovered, most people worry about "how" to make it happen. Rumi is a strong believer that you should worry about the "who" question rather than the "how" question. Once you gather a world-class team around your idea, the "how" part will emerge.
Every human being on this planet is gifted with a special skill, something they can do better than most people in this world. For Rumi, it's his ability to utilise his extensive network, and muster the right team to solve a problem or explore an opportunity.
By combining his 28 years of experience in the Information Technology industry, with his domain expertise on Business Development, Creativity and Innovation, Rumi thrives on the challenge of connecting, mustering and cross pollinating winning teams to transform ideas from concept to reality.
Interests
Contributing to Social Innovation projects ranks quite high in Rumi's pro-bono agenda. He is an avid participant of the Cross-Fit movement http://madcrossfit.com/; and on a rapid learning curve on the art of Argentine Tango. In addition to his lifelong interest in Portrait Photography, Rumi is having a crack at photojournalism by contributing to the Wellington Daily Photo website.
